We truly believe the success of Myrtle Oak Clinic is measured by the expertise, commitment and passion of our team, the quality and outcomes of our multidisciplinary treatment services, and decision-making that is client-centred and sustainable.
Health care in general, and particularly the eating disorder space, is an ever-evolving field and subject to incredible pressures from numerous audiences, at Myrtle Oak Clinic we embrace growth and change, flexibility and adaptability which improves access and delivery of care and supports organisational sustainability.
Creating an inclusive space for clients to receive treatment that is delivered on the values of the non-dieting, body accepting, Health at Every Size philosophy to understand the relationship we have with food and with our bodies, prioritising wellbeing and self-care.
We advocate for improved access to eating disorder care for all individuals. We acknowledge that not all people have access and financial means to benefit from our eating disorder care. While we cannot remove every barrier to care and we cannot meet the needs of everyone, we will continue to provide guidance and recommendations of alternative means of support and treatment through our valued local networks in the wider community with both private and public service options.
