Lauryn has a passion for working with young people, adolescents and adults who struggle with disordered eating and being able to provide the support that enables a positive relationship with food

She aims to move away from weight dominant ideals and rigid body image thoughts to align with the Health at Every Size (HAES) model. Lauryn empowers her clients to gain more confidence and freedom with food. She does this with a client centric Intuitive eating approach and by utilising the RAVES model.

Lauryn is especially enriched by her work with young people and their families in relation to fussy eating and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). She has a unique approach that involves finding creative, fun methods to guide young people with their eating. She is known for her kind, patient and compassionate approach towards clients and their families, working with the intent to help clients find enjoyment and flexibility with food again.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes, or relaxing by the beach.

Lauryn is working as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, who has completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University in Gold Coast and has recently made the exciting move to the Central Coast to join the Myrtle Oak Clinic and Optimum Intake team.
