Clare Rorani dietitian

Clare is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and adolescent mental health. She is passionate about helping people develop a more peaceful and flexible relationship with food while supporting them to reconnect with the parts of life that are most meaningful to them.

Clare understands that food is about far more than nutrition alone. It plays an important role in connection, culture, enjoyment, identity, and quality of life. She is committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout every stage of their recovery.

Using a client-centred, Health at Every Size (HAES®️) informed and non-diet approach, Clare works collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised, evidence-based nutrition care. She incorporates the RAVES model to help clients restore nutritional adequacy, rebuild trust in their bodies, establish regular and flexible eating patterns, and work towards long-term recovery with confidence.

Clare completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and has gained valuable experience supporting adolescents experiencing mental health and eating-related challenges within a specialist hospital setting at the NEXUS unit at John Hunter Hospital. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team strengthened her passion for eating disorder care and provided valuable experience in nutrition education, meal support, and family-centred care.

Outside of the clinic, Clare enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and expressing her creativity through crocheting.
