Josey is a Registered Psychologist with a strong interest in supporting individuals experiencing eating disorders and body image concerns. She has completed training in this area and is passionate about helping clients rebuild a healthy relationship with food and their bodies through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Josey has experience in a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Her approach is person-centred and collaborative, aiming to empower individuals to reconnect with their values and reach their full potential.
With experience in psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and previously, positive behaviour support within multidisciplinary teams in the NDIS space, Josey brings a well-rounded and inclusive perspective to her practice. She has worked with a wide range of concerns including anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, and neurodevelopmental differences.
As a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), Josey is dedicated to ethical, evidence-based practice. Outside of work, she enjoys getting lost in a Kindle series, exploring local walking tracks, and tackling creative DIY projects.
