Katherine is a clinical psychologist and has completed a Professional Doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology through the University of Newcastle. Katherine is an experienced clinician in the treatment of eating disorders having worked with both children and adults. She is trained in eating disorder specific therapies such as CBT-E and Maudsley Family Based Therapy and has worked in both government and private clinical settings. In addition, she is experienced in using therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in the treatment of conditions including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, drug and alcohol problems and sexual health concerns. Katherine is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. Outside of work Katherine enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach and seeing live music.
