Jodie Sheraton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia. Jodie graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition and Dietetics) from the University of Newcastle. Jodie has been working in the eating disorder field for over 10 years and has experience in a wide range of nutrition related fields such as emotional eating, weight management, clinical eating disorders, fussy eaters and child nutrition. Jodie has received training and supervision in Maudsley Family Therapy by The Children’s Hospital Westmead and has extensive experience in delivering this treatment. She has also received training (4-day intensive workshop) with Ivan Eisler on multiple family therapy. It extends the ideas of the original family based therapy with a focus on sharing parental expertise and solidarity.
Following a Non-Diet approach to healthy eating, Health At Every Size (HAES) approach, Intuitive Eating and mindfulness strategies, Jodie loves improving a person’s relationship with food, creating positive eating attitudes and breaking the dieting cycle that so many people have been programmed by our society to follow.
